Here we have an ultra rare offering, an original fully loaded 1969 Ford Mustang 390 GT Sportsroof Fastback. This unbelievably clean one of a kind GT has the original factory candy apple red paint with black deluxe interior although previous owner painted it black and has one of the nicest bodies we have seen in some time. This car just plain looks fast even standing still with it's menacing black body trimmed out with chin spoiler, NASCAR style cable and pin secured hood, hood scoop, rear wing, and chrome SS wheels. We have done the factory Marty report and this is a one of kind muscle machine.
1969 was the last year for the first generation GT with only 5396 rolling off the line that year out of 299,824 Mustangs overall. Only 10,494 of the 299,824 Mustangs that year came with the hard-charging 6.4 liter 390 c.i. big block V8, making it an even rarer engine than the 428 Cobra Jet.
This is a rare survivor that has not been modified or hot rodded and is basically just like Ford made it. This beauty is just begging to be restored to showroom quality and will be a rare find for the lucky owner that wants bragging rights at the car shows. Come take a look at this clean 390 GT, we guarantee you'll want to take it home to your restoration shop on the spot! For more information on this fine piece of history you should email or us or call. We would be happy to let you take this 1969 Mustang 390 GT home and put it's wheels to the road.
